Respect for Taxpayers

The Need for Strong Fiscal Management

Taxpayers need to trust that their representatives will treat their hard earned money with respect and use taxpayer dollars efficiently and effectively on the needs of the residents and not the wants of special interest groups. 
As a concillor I have always been very frugal and respectful when voting where taxpayers dollars are concerned.  And as your mayor, I will continue to do so and work with my colleagues to ensure strong fiscal management while providing the services the residents of Caledon need and deserve.  
I do not support single source contracts or wasting valuable taxpayer dollars on unnecessary consultants and lawyers. 
I was not born privileged and as a result I understand the hardwork that goes into every dollar earned.  Taxpayers and their wallets must be respected!
